For those who are interested in replacing the switch harness on a 933, it is really simple. Carefully pry up the 4 white porcelain igniters (use a cloth around plyers to protect the white part). Pull off the wires. Use a torx screwdriver to remove the 8 screws under the burner tops. Lift off the top of the range. This gives you access to the harness. Replace harness. On mine, the wires exited the harnesses toward the edge of the range. Make sure they sit down on the screw heads and don't move as you rotate the knob. Put the top back on, then put the torx back in and test. Easy-peasy.

Kitchen aid cooktop got wet wont ignight?

Usually Spark Switches might get shorted out or spark module went bad, but first unplug your stove and let it sit for a while (1-2 days) then try it again, if still nothing, then You will need to open up stove to check. Here is the video I made. Screws would not come off, so i had to replace almost all components on it. Hope It Helps.

The igniters are constantly clicking after cleaning the cooker. What can I do to stop the clicking?

This a coomon problem thaty occurs when you clean the "cooker". Residue from cleaning products may be preventing the ignitor from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. If you are able, clean the ignitor and adjust it. f you have too much space between the ignitor and the base of the burner, it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the ignitor. Good luck

My GE Profile JPG636 cooktop has an ignitor problem. It clicks constantly, and all the ignitors on all 5 burners are 'going off'. It happens every 8 or 10 seconds whether we're cooking or not. If anyone...

The most common cause for this issue is from liquid getting into the ignition system for the range. If someone has spilled water or other liquids into the burner knobs or the ignition system it will cause an electrical short in the system causing the igniters to come on constantly when the knobs are off. The fix to this is to unplug the range and wait 24 hours for the liquids to dry up. You can speed up this process with a hair dryer pointed at the burner stems(knobs removed). Once the liquids have dried up the problem should stop. I would not leave it plugged in until then because the ignition system could be damaged from the constant sparking.

ALL THE BURNERS ARE IGNITING WITH THE KNOBS IN THE OFF POSITION.

Most common is either your spark modual is bad or one of your ignitor switches is shorted.

More information will be needed to help you further
Model # off the machine. are you refering to the clicking noise and how often is it. just constant or once ever 10 min ?

if its constant then i would start with the Switch if has time between them 3, 5, 10, 15, 30 min I would go with the Spark modual

Ignitors are igniting on their own

they are not lighting they are sparking on there own right? No actual flame? if they are sparking on there own you need a new spark module.

Spark ignitors on gas stovetop wont stop sparking

Make sure yo haven't spilled liquid on the ignitor becuase this will cuase all ignitors to spark constantly. If all is dry, the spark module must be replaced.
