I assume this is a Ricoh machine.

1) Make a share folder on the server(pc) with write access and a password.
2) Access the copier through the web page.(Open Internet explorer and in the address bar type the Ip address ).
3) login: admin password: or "password"
4) Go to the address book
5) Create a new address and fill in the details.

or

From the panel add new address and fill in the details(do not forget to put a name)

We are using KM 4050. Everything is fine, We can print, copy, but we cannot scan to email. It started yesterday. I check all the setting, cable, I even change to use gmail SMTP server. it still gives me...

You cant can to email using gmail server. they have hundreds of different servers. would reccoment setting up scan to folder either to a shared folder on your server or straight to your c drive if needing some confidentiality

HI , i have the problem with my Scan to PC to scan the File to my Server , i have runing the Active directory on my server , i have made an administratoor account with full access on my my share folder on...

this would be on a domain then
1 open the default domain controler security setting
2 local policies
3 under security setting for microsoft network server set: digitally sign communications from always to disable
so with digital sign on the server the scan jobs are not digitally signed and will be rejected by the server.
or you could set it up to scan ftp or email if you have either one of those type of servers in the buiding they cant be external servers

Device does not recognize delivery server

this device does not support scan router v2 lite.
your best bet would be to set up using SMB scan to folder.
set up is pretty straight forward create a folder on the root of C: ie C:scans
share the folder with full permissions, simple file sharing has to be turned off!!
then go into the device web page using the IP address ie: 192.168.xxx.xxx.
go to configuration and smb create a user name ie: bill then point the device to the computer you created the folder on, ie: bill's pc/c:scans
save the configuration log out of the web utility reboot the device and you should have succesfully created an smb folder share.

if this resolves or answers your query please rate me accordingly
good luck and thanks

Laserjet CM2320fxi & Windows Server 2003

Firstly if you are to scan to a "shared folder" on server, have you configured the access rights for the shared folder? Depends on how you want it, you may want create a User "LaserJet" in AD and use this account for all scans.
You should be able to do more configuration using it's IP Address web interface.

SMB settings error.

if i remember right, the settings should be:
server: 192.168.1.10 / or server name
folder: Sbssvr1\Scans\SCANS
and if still not working, try give some user name and pwd, some networks require this.

Yes.
Go to your desktop. Create a folder named "scans" on the desktop, and share it. Give the "everyone" group full access, or give users permission to modify files. Depending in how its set up.

On the copier, since you already have Email setup, your dns servers will be entered. Go to:

user tools, system settings, admin tools, address book management. Either select a user, or new program. Fill in user name ect. Select folder. It will ask for a path. Enter the path using the following template"

\\computername\scans. You should be able to test it out. If it is successful, then it will prompt you to login. This is your local login for the computer with the scans folder, The password is its password. Press ok to save.

Select scanner, scan document to the user that you set up. If the memory goes from 100%, to 99%, to 100% quickly, it worked.

You can use variations of this on a server too. If its a domain server, assigned to a group, the user name and password are what the user uses to access the active directory.
