The following shows how to quickly determine radio's serial number and recover radio code (if you lost your card). Takes less than 10 minutes. http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/index.html

In a word you are stuffed.

The code would have been installed from new and should be somewhere in the car paperwork.

You can return the radio to a Porshe dealer and they will get it unlocked

Probably cheaper to fit another radio

2000 Porsche boxter windows work top won't go down

Good Day,
I just looked at my wiring diagram and see that a fuse from fuse Holder D, Fuse D3,it is a 30amp fuse. I would start here. I may also be a good idea to have a test light if you plan on doing your electrical repairs.

I also see that another fuse connects to your top control unit; it will be fuse B6, 15amp located in fuse Holder B.

Thanks and good luck.

Hi i have a clk soft top year 2000 i have taken battery off to re charge it ive put it back and the seat wont move either way and the gear select will not move out of park only when i insert a pen and push...

Re-moving the battery has reset all all the memory settings to a factory default, the only way around it is to talk to Mercedes. Its all very similar to removing your battery without making sure you know the radio code, but, thanks to mercedes, more expensive.

Juts contact the delaer with the VIN number, sometimes they need to pay for this information. Anybody send it this "security" code in this way Internet, then, security word dont work it.

Mitsubishi galant 2000 radio code

Hi,

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.

Check the owner’s manual to see if the radio code card is in the book between the pages. It's the size of a charge card and red in color. The code may also have been written in the inside cover of the manual. If no code card you will need the numbers off of the tag on the top of the radio which means taking things apart. Once you have the serial numbers you will need to find a friendly service writer at a Mits dealer who will look the code number up on the factory dealer web site. He will then have to instruct you how to enter the code into the radio. Don't let the car battery go dead or take the battery cables off for more than a few minutes when replacing the battery or you will need the code again.

Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

I don't have fuse codes. Which one controls my radio 2000 boxster?

I have a Boxter S so I cannot guarantee this answer will be correct. The Fuse Plan is a fan folded ten page tiny sheet attached to the back of the fuse box cover panel. Find the English part buried in there. The fuses on my car are vertical and in rows A-E starting at the top. Then the fuses are numbered 1-10 from left to right. The radio is D-8 and it is a 15 amp fuse. The sound system is D-9 and is also 15 amps. Once you replace the radio fuse, you will need the four digit security code. I had to call the dealer. Good luck.
