Question about Sony Ericsson Walkman W810i Cellular Phone

Phone keeps cutting out

My Phone keeps turning itsewlf off at the slightest movement. It hasnt been dropped and there isnt any loseness around the battery itself. The battery life is always charged (but not overcharged) and there is no reason as to why. The phone is only just over a year old. Its very frustrating. Its own vibrationturns it off.

Hard reset SHOULD work:

Settings (and tools on some phones)--->Phone Settings--->Security Setting--->Master Reset (it may be called something else, but it will be clear).

Any movement i.e walking, cycling the phone automatically turns off.

it will be your connection between your phone and its battery is loose, take out battery and make sure battery contacts of phone are up hard against the battery itself, looks like when phone is jumping around the connection between battery and phone are lost thats why it is cutting off ok, welcome

My phone turns off whenever i leave it for a while

Yes, that's what it does. Unfortunately, the phone is very sensitive to droppings. If you do that, you risk the effect as you experienced. Also, if you have it standby and just carry it with you, it will shutoff automatically for no reason. I had my phone replaced by AT&T and then the problem was resolved.

E900 keeps cutting out

Cutting out as in the person on the other end of a call is dropping, or the phone is turning itself off.

Call dropping problems are usually signal strength issues, affected by location, phone model, the mobile network your connecting too, the charge on the battery.

Phone randomly turning off is general a handset fault. return for warranty repair
