Have a samsung d900. Since this morning it just won't turn on. just blank screen and none of the buttons responding or lighting up or anything. Thought maybe the battery might need charging, but plugged it in and it still won't turn on or do anything. have knocked it around or dropped it so very confused. Any ideas? Is this a frequent problem with d900's?
Hi there, have you made sure its not your charger thats at fault and the battery has not just run down to far. Also worth checking the charging socket and charger connector to see if there has been any damage to either.

Basically it sounds to me that the main FPCB is faulty.
How old is your handset?
Samsung handsets now have a 2 years manufacturers warranty (from the point of manufactur not sale)

Its one of the most common problem in Samsung SGH-A707.It is mainly due to one reason i,e. your cell got wet.....!!! But you can try following steps to get rid of it:
Takeout the battery of your phone.
Leave your cell in air for a day or two without attaching battery and battery cover to it.
Put the battery back,it should work.If still problem exists, then I'll recommend you to buy a new battery for your cell........and before you put that new battery in your cell, leave your cell in air for another two days with the same procedure.
