You will need to visit the Compaq website and download the audio drivers for your computer. The audio drivers can also be found on the CD disk that came with your computer. When on the Compaq website click their downloads/support button and search for the audio drivers using the model number of your computer.
uninstall your currently installed audio driver if any installed, then download audio driver from here :- http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-971-drivers-realtek-ac-97-audio

1) check if you have a disk(which came with computer.) for drivers. This will be the disk for the motherboard driver.
2.)insert this disk and install the driver for audio driver.
If you do not have a disk
Then visit------
then visit the computer manufacturer's website and find the audio driver on the website.
For eg.
if you have Hp computer then visit support.hp.com. If you have dell computer, visit support.dell.com.
Now, go the options, driver and then select the model no. of the computer.
now, you will find the audio driver there. download and install it on the computer.

the sigmatel audio driver it is your audio driver not work properly. first thing to do get the installer of your computer or cd driver of your computer. then insert into a cd-rom of your computer. then open the file of the cd driver of your computer then find the installer audio driver. then click the executable file wait until finish to install the audio driver.
