I have a logitech Dinovo wireless keyobard (great keyboard btw) but my son has popped off the "alt" key. I suppose I could do without it, but it really bugs me. It looks like the key has not been broken, and it should just pop back in... but I can't get it to get in there. I've tried just pressing it down hard into the space, but it always seems to stick down and get stuck. When I try to pop up it back up to the normal set/height, it pops right off. What is the proper procedure for installing a key onto the Dinovo?

I think those are similar to what you find on laptops. It's really quite simple. There are tons of videos on YouTube, here's an example:

I spilt a milkshake on my edge keyboard, so stipped, cleaned and washed it, then took off EVERY sodding key, ALL of them are easy to replace and pop right in (although you got to be gentle)the only one that caused me problems was the enter key. Not meaning to appear rude or insult your intelligence, did you take apart the x mechanisim below the key? if not i think one of the 4 pins on the x could be bent, snapped. if its the X that wont stay in place (all of it lifts?) bend the tab back when seating it.

DiNovo Edge space bar and "n" key do not respond

I have the same problem with my dinovo after 2 years of usage, and i have found a temporary fix.
The temporary fix is to connect the dinovo to another computer and then hammer the keys vigorously, prefferably if dragging your finger over the keys, the keys will then start funcion immediately. Then connect dinovo to the first (main) computer again, and here the keys wont function, but after hammering them again vigorously it also starts working again here. However this is a temporary solution and the problem will probably reocurr. Notably hammering the keys on the first (main) computer wont yield any results even after long time of hammering without the second computer-lockup. Signalerror from logitech to specific computer? If there was dust this would never work on other computer so fast, and the error would not reocurr after being fixed.

Need a manual for dinovo wireless desktop

Logitech is not only a good brand but they have great support. Can you guess what I'm using right now ;-]

Anyway there are a few different dinovo types and the easiest way is to click on the link and look for the correct picture of your set. That will take you to the support page and the downloads. There you can get the manuals drivers and any software.

The mouse on Dinovo edge keyboard not working at all

It is possible that your touch-disk is turned off. Try pressing the Fn key (RHS of the space bar, between the alt and ctrl keys) along with the "right mouse button" (the right button underneath the touch disk) -- when you press the Fn key the word "On" will light up above the button.

If that is not the problem, perhaps the driver software was not properly installed or the keyboard is defective. You could try reinstalling Logitech's software.

Good luck.

I have a MX 3200 wireless keyboard and mouse. the

The problem was that ther keyboard was encrypted for my protection. this sometimes prevents the keyboard from connecting to the receiver and therefore the computer. to stop encrypton: press the left CRTL + left ALT + F12 key at the same time. Press the connect button on the receiver (you only have a few seconds to then press the connect button on the keyboard. Press the ESC key. Now you must start the encrypton again. Install SetPoint software from www.logitech.com/downloads. after you save and run the program, then press left CTRL + left ALT + F12 keys. sometimes there is an encrytpion wizard that pops up to help you further encrypt the keyboard, but this does not always pop up. It didn't on mine. My keyboard just started working right after i re-sarted the encryption.

hope this helps others that were in my situation.
