hi, can u help me guys pls. everytime i open y orbicam it says "the camera is use by another application" but there is really no other application. i also get the annoying beeping sound while it connects/disconnects.

- i am still unable to use my orbicam..when i use it in YM it says "sorry no webcamis connected", when i open it directly in the programs it still cannot cannot and the beeping sound continues. how could another application be using the orbicam if i have just started using the laptop?there is no other application opened yet, i have also checker the task manager.Mar 04, 2008
- i have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the orbicam software and drivers but i still got the same problem..all i can say is that i just bought an a4 tech note-cam yesterday at least i can have a webcam to use now :)Same Problem

that happens to me sometimes with other programs. sometimes when you exit the camera, it doesnt completely exit. you have go to TASK MANAGER, then applications, there you can completely stop the application, and it wil open for you.

Dear Friends,
Greetings fom Chennai,India.I have an Acer Aspie 5571 AWXMI Lap Top.
Off late now every time I open the "orbicam" it says "the camera is use by another application" but there is really no other application which is usng the cam.
I also get the annoying beeping sound while it connects/disconnects.
I hav intalled and reinstalled al posible Drivers,result still same
I have even installed a new OS.
Kindly help.

hi, the same problem, camera stopped working soon after i purchased the laptop. says that some other program is using it and is beeping endlessly ... does anyone know how to solve this? thank you
