Question about Canon PowerShot SD630 Digital ELPH / IXUS 65 Digital Camera
I am having a problem with my Canon SD630. I've had this camera for less then 2yrs. Its never been dropped or anything. Its not reading my memory card. I have tried 4 diff. cards and it keeps saying "no memory card"
Please help me, I am leaving in two days on vacation and I am not sure if I should go buy a new one.
You may have bent or broken contacts inside the card slot. It's tough to see, but if you look deep inside the slot, you may notice a contact bent or broken. If you're not able to see any damage inside, try taking a cotton swab with some alcohol (isopropyl, not rubbing or drinking type), and cleaning the contacts.
