My Denon AVR-4308CI is only two month old. It is working well but the on screen display (i.e., manual, volume change bar) did not appear today while everything else is working. When I put the manual button on the remote, I still can see the GUI on the front panel but not on the TV screen. I have double checked my GUI and TV are in same format, i.e., NTSC. Can anyone help?

I would first check and replace the cables to make sure you have clean signal. If that all checks out then I would consider putting in an amplifier in line to boost your signal. What is the distance you have on the cables all combined? Another thing to check in troubleshooting is to remove everything (cables) except the unit you are experiencing trouble with. If after all of this I would say your connection to your component itself is suspect.

From the manual of your Denon page 41:
-It is not possible to select HDMI input signals.
• When playing HDMI video input signals, the analog video signal of
another input source cannot be selected for the HDMI video output."
