Ps2 power light stays red

try checking the system for timer or sleep mode operation try to setting it off

if u r still in warrantee u can get a new 1 try as fast as possible becaz PS2 is not a repairable product of sony

bud it is 2010 so time to buy a ps3

try this:
1. turn off PS2
2. unplug PS2
3. plug PS2 back in
4. turn on PS2

Faulty button, fuse. Try a new power cable, if that doesnt work then it will need a new on/off switch.

my ps2 it get power it red when i press the reset botten it wont turn to green

usually, there is a problem with a ribbon cable of power/reset switch. Try using a replacement ribbon of the same type.

It's either a faulty power-pack (the boxy thing that is between the unit and the wall) or it's in the unit itself. If you know someone else who has one see if you can borrow their power-pack and try your unit on it. If the problem persists with the other AC unit then it is on the motherboard and will be likely unrepairable.
