it wont load anything, the eject button glows red not green and continues clicking sound

Hello, when playing a dvd , I too have a clicking sound
on the right side and the dvd freezes also I have seen
a "needs service" message appearing on the screen!
Is there anything that I can try....cleaner? Is it overheating?
just worn out?

my xbox power light is flashing red and makes clicking sound from hard drive side only had it for about 2 months has not been used much

Mine is flashing red/green. It powers on, shuts off, powers on, shuts off, powers on to flash the red/green lights.

If It Glows Red Constantly, You have a possible Overheat Problem. if it flashes green/red it,s Fragging.
the clicking needs to be identified more clearly, is it clicking at the left hand-side or the right hand side of the console.
