Question about Bang and Olufsen Beosound 2000 Shelf System
When I touch the sound adjustment black circle area on top of the radio the channels change. When I touch the forward backward arrows for channel changes nothing happens. The touch pad seems to responding intermittantly. Radio less than 2 years old and was bought new in David Jiones store in Adelaide
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Did you check the cables including the power? Maybe some wires are overlapping causing interference/maybe some wire got damaged. Check also the outlet you are using (try another outlet).

Below are links to the manuals. I also have this system with the original manuals.
Basically, press the "load" button to open up the CD mechanism, put a CD on the spindle, and press load again to close the CD mechanism. Press the "CD" button to start playing the CD. Page 12 in the User's Guide has instructions on configuring the radio presets.

Check the r/c is not causing this fault.Clean around the no4 pad.A b&o dealer should still be able to look at this unit assuming all their technicians are not youngsters given its age!
