WinXP doesn't accept the driver when connected thru a USB-Parallel Port Connector

Exact same problem as Kim1 with LBP800 (the error message is: The printer is connected to a port of an unsupported type) but it works fine with another printer of mine (Panasonic KX-P1121). I even tried arunpandiyan's solution but it still doesn't work. Then again, I only tried uninstalling 1 of the USB port drivers there coz I don't think it makes any difference since there is no issue with the Panasonice printer.

Pleaseeeeeeee help....coz I don't think buying a new printer is the solution.
