That unit is a ctc203 chassis and if it's never been in the shop before it's probably ring cracks in the HV or power supply circuit. Not an expensive fix at the shop and those chassis tend to be a bit of a bear dismantle (lots of smd). You might consider taking it in for a pro to look at it..
If not the chassis removes as a tray assembly and then dismantles from there. Good magnification, light, dmm and solder gun and you got it whipped..
Good luck!

I have a 32" RCA LCD tv , rlc3210 power input says

Is it hooked up with HDMI cable?

If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.

I have a RCA L32HD31YX12 TV. The TV works fine for a half hour and then the screen flickers and goes black. The sound continues. If I turn the set off for a half hour, it works again for another half

You have answered your own question, someone needs to open it and find a loose plug or broken solder connection--if it reacts to being tapped on that is the issue- a physical problem inside.

MY HDTV RCA TV JUST THE LAST TO DAYS I TRUN IT ON THEN IT FLICKERING ....I GET PICTURE AN SOUND .., JUST FLICKERING AS I WACTH TV ??????????????

hi lildruiz!

That flickering sound is cause of your bad capacitors. Please fix it as soon as possible because it can cause much bigger damage. Here are steps to solve your problem.

Step1: Unscrew it to open the back cover of your TV.
Step2: Find/look at the location of your capacitors.
Step3: Look at the actual image of the capacitors, determine if it has bulged.
Step4: when determined, replace it for the same type, rate, & value.
Step5: when done, you can now test it.

Then come back again for the result. Thank you and hope to help you.

I just purchased a vizio 32' LED RAZOR The picture flickers.. I have had my dish network technician out to check and everything is fine...he says it is the tv... it is very irritating...what is...

first try too use a dvd player in the same input. that will tell u if it is your tv or not. if not then thier are some things too change on the dishnetwork as a tech for dish now i'd change out the lnbf (the eyes on the dish) then the cable connected between the tv and the dish reciever but the flickering is called pixlating. if it keeps flickering then it is your tv.

Unit intermittently makes the TV flicker the sound and picture.

I would be checking and trying new leads from the antenna part of your telly to where they go into the wall , we had a problem with a new tv that used to turn itself off and on we got the tv replaced with another new one and it still did it . it turned out to be a faulty cable from the pay tv box on top of the telly as they emit FM waves just like the radio and it was sending signals to the remote on the tv to turn it off
