Re: Trying to hook up a playstation one
Make sure you have the cables connected correctly from the playstation to the VCR.
Yellow colour is Video output from playsation to Video input on VCR.
To get the audio from the playstation to the VCR just match the colours of the RCA connections.
Do not forget to select video input on the VCR as well.

You are probably talking about the main menu that appears when the TV is taken off the AC power outlet, to get rid of this page just turn the tv off and on again and it should give you access to what ever channel was tuned before, if your game console has an RF out, your TV should be set to channel 3 ir 4, if the console has composite outs the change the channel until the TV goes to Aux in or Video in. Retrevo.com has an instruction manual available which you can download free, just in case you need more informantion, if the channel keys do not work, then you may have to get a universal remote ,they are fairly inexpensive and will come in very handy at least for the basic functions or just have theTV worked on.
Find the video input. This is usually located at the back or front or side of the TV. There should be a video and audio (sound) input there. You can hook up your DVD player here. Please use the proper cables for it (use RCA cables). This is usually color coded. Your DVD should have come with it.
Hope I have been of assistance to you.

your vcr has the yellow, white, and red (RCA) ports but your playstation will not. you have to buy an addapter cable to go from playstation to vcr. http://www.gocybershop.ca/customer/product.php?productid=133&cat=163
btw on your vcr the RCA inputs are not colored (if you have the one in the picture. but just as a guide, yellow=video, red=right(R), white=left(L).
"I am also having difficulties in try to display the yamaha set up menu on the tv." According to the manual the display menu for TV will not work with HDMI hook up. I also have a Panasonic HD TV and can't get TV sound through my Yamaha AVR on "TV Sound" mode. Trying to use HDMI cable for this also. Do I need a digital optical cable or do I not have something set right?
the only way that i have found to get the video off the camcorder from the tape is plug an audio video cable in the side of the camera then get a cable that will hook to your video card. then you will need some software that will record what ever video/audio is playing on your computer.
Try to find same battery charger or camera and do Cross-Check, hook new charger with camera and confirm charging process and hook your charger in other same camera and confirm is it working? You will rectify the problem unit, either camera or charger.
