Stop 0x0000007F Error - it indicates that there might be something wrong with the hardware of your computer and usually has something to do with the MEMORY ,motherboard . To fix this try to check and see if you have downloaded and installed the most recent BIOS and driver updates, check to see if the memory installed in your computer are at identical speeds. it can also be because of registry problems so try to perform a registry scan.

Hi,

You are having a non compatible memory frequency. foe you to stop having blue screen of death, you should ensure that the memory frequency matches the MOBO frequency. sometime you can change the settings in certain BIOS by pressing Del key.

Hi there, There are numerous causes for this problem. A blue screen of death can be caused by the following: Faulty Memory, Damaged Windows Installation, Corrupted Drivers or even damaged software.
So firstly i would advise getting all your Drivers updated and checking you memory modules. If that doesn't help try seeing if the error only happens when you use a specific program or software. You could also do a Windows Repair cause corrupted windows files regularly can cause blue screens..

I have a MS-7101 motherboard with a Pentium 4 Dual Core CPU based system . RAM is 512 MB (DDR) . However , sometime after I have switched on the P.C. , the screen (display) suddenly starts going bad ....

Most of the distorted display related to video memory. MS-7101 Motherboard coming with embedded video controller so your system memory is sharing space for the video memory. Replace and check your system RAM or check RAM module with Memtest , if it is showing error u should replace memory module.

Hi,

The BSOD error is sometimes associated with driver clashes.
If you recently installed new drivers for some of your components the first step I will take will be to reinstall the older versions of the drivers.
If you have not installed new drivers recently you can also try and reinstall all your drivers from the motherboard, graphic card and soundcard cd/dvd. Just to make sure none of them are faulty.

This is the first step I would take to make sure it is not a driver issue. Most of the times this solves my BSOD problems.

The next step i would take is to remove the ram modules and reinsert them and make sure that they are seeded correctly.

Try these solutions and let me know if any of them were useful!

Kind regards

When switching laptop on the screen goesw blue with a error sign even when trying to do a system restor it does the same after putting f8 then repair your comp

The blue screen of death is commonly associated with memory problems.
If this is happening outside of running windows, the you either have faulty Ram or a faulty motherboard. Have you overclocked the machine? Try setting the bios back to factory defaults. Try resetting the CMOS on the motherboard. If you have more than one memory module, take them out and try one at a time in each slot.
Looking on the upside, maybe it's time to upgrade... motherboards and ram have never been cheaper!

Pentium 4 3ghz various problems ,downloaded files no good game copying no good.Put in a pentium 4 2ghz I had around and seems to be working fine.

I was also constantly getting the Blue screen ,sometimes with text referring to dumping memory and other times no text just a Blue screen .I now believe that the CPU is at fault.I recently replaced it with a 2ghz ,as I had one, the other being a 3ghz.So far I have not had the blue screen.

Making a bench machine on the tyan dual core pentium III mother board

Howzit
If you had no problems installing the XP second time around your problem is definitely not the harddrive. Suspect that that error you got was a blue screen. You problem most probably lies with your memory modules (RAM) if you are using more than one memory module then you need to check that they work on the same frequency (probably not since you are having this problem) If you are in fact using more than one module try just using one. If you only have one then you might try another as this one could be faulty. As to NTFS it is the best suitable format for XP therefore that is not a problem. Let me know how things turn out. Thanks

Regards.
