When i have my phone on vibration and i get a text, call, pic msg, anything, it wont make any noise. when i have my phone on high and vibrate, it wont work. can you tell me what i can do to get the vibration back?
All I did was wait for it to come back. I think it might have had something to do with the battery being low. However, that's never happened to me when the battery was low. When I plugged my charger in, I got a text message. I had the ring on high and vibrate. It vibrated for a second, then it just continued to ring. Once my phone was fully charged, the vibration came back. I think it was just a glitch in the phone. Razr's suck.

The long button on the left side of the phone is what controls the tone/vibrating. Are you trying to set it to ring or turn the sound off completely? If you want it to ring open it, and hit either button on the left side. Then hit the upper button once for it to beep one time when a text or call is received, twice for low, 3 times for medium, 4 times for medium/high, and 5 for high. If you want to silence it, hold the bottom button on the left side down.
If you have text messaging on your phone, you can text it to your phone, you can send it to your phone as a pic message. Send it to your phone from an email on your computer as an attachment to:
email@example.com the Xs are your 10 digit cell number. When you rec'v the pic msg on your cell, save it a ringtone. This worked for me perfectly. If you do not have text msg on your cell, with Verizon it is 20 or 25 cents.
Here is what you need to do:
First, make a blank voice recording. It can be 1 second, trust me and do it :)
Second: Go into your menu and go to ringer types for text messages.
Select voice recordings (or reminders) it is the second one on the list.
Select the recording you just made (the blank one).
Make sure you have a vibration selected for the texts.
And there you go! Put the volume on max and have a text sent just to make sure it works and you do not hear anything.
I just did this as a solution for a customer who did not want any noise for the texts, just the vibration. For it to vibrate, it needs to have a ringer selected. Something a tester overlooked, no doubt.
The MMS settings provided by your network service provider don't all work with each other. Some are compatible with your network some are not, if it's not, you get a msg giving you the URL where you can pick up your pics.
Also the pic taken on a particular format ie. Sony Ericsson w810i sent to a Nokia 1100, wont work because one phone has a large colour screen the other has a B/W small screen, so the Nokia 1100 would not be able to open the file.
