It will not run a load and it just beeps and shows F dL now. For over a week it was just F11. This expensive machine stinks if you ask me.
Press on pause for about 15 seconds, then open the door, choose your program, close the door hard and press on start.
There are other threads in fixya with the same problem, and I'm trying to get to all of them but there's too many, so please pass this along. The problem is contact fretting and is very easy to fix. It costs next to nothing and only takes a bit of work. Please see my post on mysteryonion's page at

The same problem will occur with any machine that uses tin-lead contacts in the connectors.

F dl refers to a door lock issue, failur to lock,f 11 refers to a communications error between door lock and 2 central computers on board, just replaced a machine controller for a cust today to fix the Fdl. part deneding on model can be 165-300 dollars.
Close door hard. Then HIT it on the Handle.

issue with the door lock when it is unable to lock/unlock. Please check the
door lock mechanism/door switch assembly and replace the part that has gone bad

Does anyone have a Part # for the CCU PCB on my Kenmore Elite H3t washer?
I just purchased the HT3 Kenmore Elite and it washed my clothes but when it was time to began the SPIN CYCLE, a CODE F11 would come on the screen and NOT GO THE HWELL AWAY! Does anyone know a solution to this problem other than returning this machine?

I have the same problem--for the past 2-3 weeks, every so often the f11 code comes on and the machine keeps beeping. I've been able to get it started again by canceling the cycle and restarting, but from what I have been reading, the situation is expected to get worse. We also have a lot more vibration during the cycles.
The repair man came and his solution was to disconect the washer to fix the F11 error. A week later the problem persist and now when the washer gets to the one minue spinning stays in no. 1 forever. This is a nightmare.

Same problem, for many months now.
I have had this same F11 and dL code for about 6 mnths I found that if you bang the back center of the washer when you hear the clicking it will buzz and then start working again but it has stopped working after 6 mnths of doing this
I have the Kenmore Elite HE3t I am getting that F11 error and not the door lock will not unlock. Repair man just told me 552.62 for a new computer and door lock......HELP, [email protected]

After gaining access to the CCU, I inspected and check for continuity but everything checked out ...
No weak solder points on the board. The contact on my CCU on the other hand well they looked like there were very worn.
What I did do is add solder to al the contact runs and reinstalled the CCU. My problems with the F11 and DL error were attributed to CCU have gone away.
I assume overtime the humidity get to the solder on the board and with the continues vibrations there is excessive wear on the contact.

i have the F11 come on during the middle of my wash. Now, it locks up and doesn't unlock and has dl messages. We keep replacing the door lock but, it keeps escalating.
