It's possible that the Slide holder (the draw that comes out to load cds) has a damage. I came across a couple that a piece was broken which was suppose to hold a gear in place.

Sharp CD-BA2100, when I turn it on it starts making a clicking sound and if set to tape one or tape two, it shows "error". When set to "cd" it comes up with error 0306 and the cd tray...

the rubber rope which conect the motor to a small gears to open the cd was cut due to long using ... this sound of clicking coz the small motor is running and its not attached to anything ... its a small rounded rubber rope ..the bad news is you have to break some plastic stuff to reach the motor in the repair depot they change the whole upper part so it costs alot ... but if you can reach it it will work perfect as its new.

Hi - the CD tray cannot open. It is empty - no CDs in there. I hear a buzz, but an "error" message comes on. I tried pushing on the tray while turning on; I unplgged the CD player, I put it on...

The loading tray belt has more than likely stretched or snapped.
The buzzing you hear will be the motor spinning freely.
The 'ERROR' message will show up because the tray isn't opening
and activating the 'tray open' switch, therefore the 'tray closed' switch
is permanently activated after the 'open/close button is pressed.

I am getting an error Message 0306 or 0203 when trying to open the cd tray on my Sharp CD-BA150 Stereo System what can I do to fix this problem

For the error 0306, simply remove the lid of your system and clear the dust out/off of the lense and surrounding areas. (i.e. soft cloth, canned air, ect...) Hope this helps!

Epson 220 not printing cd labels anymore

Clean the white areas on the tray with a light solvent cleaner like windolene/windex liquid. Also try giving the tray a helping hand as it is started to be fed into the printer

Cd stuck err 0306 message

Since the cds are stuck inside, you need to open the unit and remove them. There are four screws on the top cover. Remove them (2 on each side) and lift the cover. You should see the cds, remove them, then plug on the unit.

Cd tray error Canon Pixma MP810

Sorry a little late only just read your problem.
The location is not the bottom tray feeder but the disk tray. In settings change your media type to "Printable Disk" the paper scource should automatically change to "Disk Tray" and hopefully every thing will work OK.

Sharp CD-BA200 MIni Component Stero System

I've been messing with mine because it says no disc and I messed it up so it started saying this error. Unscrew the screws around the top (4 screws) and slide off the top cover. The small black rectangular box that sits over the eye/laser can be removed carefully by compressing the clips. Then the cd tray can be removed. I figured out this error was coming up because I had the tray out of alignment... so try to see if that's the problem with yours... also the eye itself slides (the entire mechanism it's on... slides away from and towards the place where the cd sits to be lifted and read) and it should be as close as possible to the area that lifts the cd. Sorry if this isn't making sense... trying to explain in the best way possible. The tray being out of alignment causes that error though.
