i just looked up your model number and when you change a halogen bulb you should buy the bulb and socket or lamp assy. part 14-38-437 and that's the part the bulb plugs into you can't get it anymore,i just was on sears and repair clinic and it's unavailable

A cheap DIY solution is old BBQ rack, either as is or cut as needed and rest element on it. BBQ racks are built with material which can handle very high temperatures made by oven elements.

Hello. From what you're describing, there might be a problem with the rack switch. It is connected directly to the main oven display board at connector P10 for a single oven(See pic 3, left side, middle). On the double oven model, there will be a P12 connector near the same area. TURN OFF POWER TO THE OVEN BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CHECK ANYTHING!! On the double oven display board, there will be a connector P10 and P12 for the upper and lower oven racks.The part number for the main oven display board is 7316516536 in case the switches are good. The rack switch part number for the upper and lower oven is 7318903403. The part number is the same for the switch in the single oven model. Note the designation on the exploded parts diagram as 14(with a circle around the part). I've included the last pic(the oven relay board) just for future information.The part number for it is 7316443919(dual oven relay board). If you are hesitant about attempting to troubleshoot the oven, definitely call for service! This can be an INVOLVED REPAIR requiring advanced troubleshooting. The connectors on the circuit board can be damaged easily as they are multi-pin devices. You will need a voltage/ohm meter with fine probe tips to perform continuity checks on the rack switch(s). Two racks never bake as evenly as one unless you use the fan inside the oven if you have one...The fan will also shorten the baking times...
The other thing that I would check is to make sure that the lower element in your oven is not blown and you are heating with the top element only...
