My dvd/cd-rom is not able to play a dvd or cd of anytype

Restart your PC and go into your BIOS and disable the CD/DVD-R, this way it doesn't detect your CD/DVD-R it when you boot to Windows. Once you're in Windows, do a re-start again and go back into your BIOS and enable the CD/DVD-R.

CD\DVD driver device driver is missing

separate drivers are not required for all current operating systems (win98, me, 2000, xp, vista, w7, linux, openbsd, mac os etc.) as support for internal cd/dvd's is built in.

If you are trying to play a dvd movie you need software to do so. vlc from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ is available for most if not all of these operating systems and can play dvds.

if your device is an external usb cd/dvd drive you only need drivers for early versions of windows, such as win98.

Hello !
When I encountered the same problem, I proceeded as following :
Enter BIOS setup using DEL or what other key your motherboard requires. Choose the ATA instead of AHCI on the SATA configuration. Apply changes then insert your CD/DVD in your CD/DVD-rom. Also make sure you have chosen the CD as your first boot device.

Hello I need a product key for office 7

The product key came with the CD / DVD. If it came pre-installed, check with the computer manufacturer for the key.

It is illegal to ask for and use someone else's product key.

Manual for instruction setup key windows xp software ,pls help me to do it my self ! what key to boot or format windows xp i am trying do doing this formating about 4 day ago but still not successful.what...

Follow these steps and ia sure you will be able to boot by yourself:-
1)Change the BIOS boot order so the CD or DVD drive is listed first. Some computers are already configured this way but many are not.
2)If the CD or DVD drive is not first in the boot order, your PC will start "normally" (i.e. boot from your hard drive) without even looking at what might be in your disc drive.
3)Insert your bootable CD or bootable DVD in your disc drive.
4)Restart your computer.
5)Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD or DVD... message.
6)When booting to a Windows setup CD/DVD and many other bootable discs, you may be prompted with a message to press a key to boot to the disc. To boot to the CD or DVD, you'll need to press any key on your keyboard (like the space bar) within the few seconds that the message is on the screen.
7)If you do nothing, your computer will check for boot information on the next boot device in the list in BIOS which will probably be your hard drive.
8)Some bootable CDs and DVDs do not prompt for a key press and will start immediately.
Your computer should now boot from the CD or DVD disc.

I have the cd and product key for mcafee but i have a netbook and cant not find how i do this

Hi beatt52,

I assume your netbook has no CD Drive, your only option would be a digital installation, if your mcafee is one of the latest versions, you can try downloading a trial version of the software, then provide your product key as an upgrade to the full version.

Media center does not play cds or dvds please help

You have to check your CD/DVD Rom to make sure the device is not faulty.

Open your Windows Explorer, insert any CD/DVD to see whether your CD/DVD is able to read the the disk.

If it cannot read the disk, most probably the CD/DVD rom is faulty and you have to replace it.

Hello i cannot find my product key my computer is 2007 microsoft xp, manufactor intel part P4M90M74, PCB Version NO. 70, SERIAL NUMBER 00001, Pls. help me

Your product key is on a barcode sticker on the case or card that your original CD came in. If you can't find it you'll need to contact a Microsoft Product Activation Center. The link is below. Since you appear to have a legal copy, I wouldn't recommend using one of the hack keys that are being passed around.

My system cd drive is not working while inserting the R/W disk...and also regedit is also not working i need immediate result help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello there!!

I suggest that you should first try using other brands of CD/DVD -RW and if still doesn't work, check your CD/DVD drive/player from your laptop or pc. And you can buy a new set. (more practical)

Thanks! Cheers!

Pls don't forget to mark!
