Ilo dvdr04 tray drive belt

The tray on my dvd player will not open at times. The drive belt looks like it is streched (does not fit tight). Where can I get a replacement. Hopefully not from ilo as there tec support is non responsive. Thanks for your time and help.

Take thebelt out and clean it first, sometimes they get contaminated with grease

use a clean rag with a little iso alcohol to do this and try it. If it still slips, you can cut a couple of mm out of it with a razor blade, and then but joint it back together with good quality super glue whilst taking care not to get glue all over the belt. replacement belts can be got from most decent aftermarket parts suppliers. I let me know if you want to get a new belt and I will track it down for you.

How do I get the tray to stay closed on my iLO DVDR04

This is normally caused by a small loading belt that has stretched and the tray can not complete the cycle to close the door properly thus causing it to open.

Dvd drawer keeps opening up on its own and will not stay shut?

There is a switch located at the front of the player right under the DVD tray. This switch tells the player that the door is completely closed. If this switch does not operate, then the Ilo will re-open the DVD tray thinking that something is jammed. Might want to try replacing that switch

Tray wont open and tuner seems not to work

Disc tray belt that opens door has too much slack and need to be replaced,$2 item, belt size 1.9.To get tray open use your knuckles and tap on TOP of cabinet just above disc door while pushing open button. When open you will see the tiny belt that operates door to the right, use twizzers to remove an replace.Make sure new belt is seated properly in tracks if not tray won't move.

My DVDR04 door will not open

Tray is out of alignment or belt drive is shot.Knock on top of cabinet with knuckles while pressing open button it will open the disc tray door 98% of time. While disc tray door is open you will see a tiny pulley to the right, this belt is probably too worn out to open the door properly.Uses 1.9 size belt. You can remove and replace with twizzers.Make sure new belt is in the tracks or tray won't move.

DVD tray will not remain closed

Try this. With the tray door still open and the power on, press and hold the play button until the door closes. If you hear the disc loading the door will remain closed for play and record.
