Constant beeping and F1 displayed. HELP!

Have the same problem -- it started beeping in the middle of the night...looked and the F1 code was on the front panel. Kept hitting the clear button, but in 3-4 seconds it would start to beep again...

Every time I set the oven it gets to 350 degrees & starts beeping & flashing F-3. The only way to stop the beeping is to hit stop. I was told it would cost me $400.00 to replace this part.

KEEPS BEEPING SP I JUST UNPLUG IT..HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP WITHOUT Calling a repairman?  tnx

Same problem here with my very old gas Magic Chef. Isn't there some way to just turn the beeper off? I have to plug in the range every time I use it, then unplug it. The one good thing is that once you plug it in, you can light the burners and then unplug it and they stay lit. Or whenever I turn the oven on, it stops beeping. I never use a beeper and don't cook that much, so is there some way to stop the beeping for good without paying $400 for a part?

You need to replace the touchpad. I'm just getting ready to replace mine for the second time in 14 years. A bit pricey but not a hard repair to make.
An appliance repairman told me that it's possible to peel the old pad off and carefully fish the connecting wire out to the point where it plugs together. This would save removing the burners and the stovetop I'm going to give it a try when mine arrives

I have a magic chef stove Im not sure the age however it keeps beeping and showing me a F2 message

Hi pamelajo,

The failure code F2 means the Oven temperature is too hot. Please check the sensor harness. Replace relay board, if present, or oven temperature sensor (RTD).

Hope it helps.

Where would I look to get replacement broiler element for an electric Magic Chef Chateau over and under oven model 251v-2cw. It's in great shape other than just blowing this element.

Is the model number listed 251v-2CW that of the Oven or the part # of the element? That number is not showing up as either as a proper model #. Can you double check the Oven's Model # and list the Serial Number as well?
