Question about Dell E173FP 17" LCD Flat Panel Monitor
The monitor had a few blinks of a thin, horizontal line, then it would blink off and blink on. After a few times, it finally wouldn't come back on at all. We did get a blue screen that said something about checking drivers, super drives..., but it didn't come back on before I could write everything down.
Also the letter codes in the back on the computer say everything is operating fine. Could it just be the monitor went out?
Another strange thing, when I unplug the monitor from back of the computer the power light on the monitor goes green and appears to work by showing a color spectrum box.
Thank you in advance.
It sounds like the monitor might be going bad. I would try hooking up another computer to it. If it works with another computer, then I would say the Video card might be going bad.
