Samsung A737 - Broken Display - Save numbers stored to phone to the SIM

My daughters dog got a hold of my phone, it can still send/receive calls however the display is destroyed.

I have another phone on order.

How can I save the numbers stored to the phone to the SIM without a display?

If you go to your service provider [att, sprint ect.] you can ask them for a print out packet of all your numbers, if you wanna do it the old school way. :]

Unlock Code for Samsung SGH A737?

  • Open the Samsung A737 page at any of these sites: My Unlock Code, GSM Liberty, Unlocking.com or Mobile Unlocked. All four of these are pay sites. Mobile Unlocked and GSM Liberty offer money-back guarantees in case the code will not unlock the phone.

  • Remove the Samsung A737's battery. When the site you chose in Step 1 prompts you for it, type in the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number from inside the Samsung A737's battery compartment. Every site in Step 1 needs the IMEI to generate an unlock code specific to your phone. Pay for the unlock code. In case you do not use a credit card, most of these sites will accept a PayPal payment. You will receive the unlock code by email, usually in a few hours, depending on which site you chose.

  • Slot the old carrier's chip into the battery compartment, in case the unlock code will not work without it: some unlock codes are network-specific. Put in the battery and close the battery chamber.

  • Enter your Samsung A737's phone mode. Type on your keypad the code precisely as it appears in the email. If you receive the unlock code "A5966J Send" for example, then type in 259665, and then "send" the code to your Samsung A737 by pressing the Talk/Call/Send button.

  • Slot the new network's chip in under the battery. Make an outgoing call to test if the phone is now unlocked. If the call does not go through and a chip or SIM error message pops up, repeat Steps 3 and 4 a few times. If you still cannot make a call, contact the code provider so they can remedy the problem.

I have a samsumg sgh-a797 i would like to the unlock codes so i can use it for any network

On the AT&T Network, to unlock the Samsung A737:
    • Power on without SIM
    • Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
    • Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
    • Phone may automatically reboot
*The 8 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

Can't receive an picture message an i can't send a text message

You'll have to call your service provider. The SIM card stores a phone number for the network's text message center. For some reason, this phone has a glitch where it deletes the center number. Your service provider might be able to update it remotely but I had to take the SIM out and place it in an older phone so I could enter the text message center number manually. This fixed the problem.

    Hope this helps

    Phone lock code

PERMANENT UNLOCK CODE SAMSUNG SGH A117, T429, T729

Insert ANY unaccepted SIM card in the phone and then turn the phone on, follow the steps in 1 to 4 below to enter all the codes. The phone will states "Wrong card" at the end of step 2 and "network lock deactivated" at the end of step 4 if you do everything right so pls take your time to enter the code or follow the instruction correctly at each step. When entering some of the zeros at steps 3 and 4 your phone may display the zero as hyphen or minus (-), dont worry, just count when entering the zero to ensure you enter just the right numbers of zeros. Now let's begin... 1/ Put any unaccepted SIM card in your SAMSUNG SGH Phone, turn the phone on, it will display "WRONG CARD"

2/ At the wrong card screen, type *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#

Need to get numbers from my phone to my sim card

Have you ever used any synch software, linking it to a computer? That might be the best course of action. Also it is quite likely all your numbers may not fit on the sim. Looks like you may have to get the screen fixed.
