This error means your bios is corrupt. The first step is to replace the CR2032 battery inside the computer. Upon reboot choose fail safe settings in the bios. The bios can usually be accessed with either F2, F9, F11, or the delete key.

If this does not solve your problem then you are left with options to listen to it until windows boots or replace your motherboard.

Sounds like you have a video driver issue. See if you can boot from your "Dell Resource" CD or any other bootable CD disk. Power on the computer and tap the F12 key to get to the "Boot Selection Menu". Insert the "Resource CD" into the CD-ROM drive. Select "Boot from CD/DVD drive" from the selection menu. If the computer boots from the CD drive then you Operating System Software is the problem.

I have dell optiplex 360 but LED ligth remain on does not turn green when i powerd on.no signal , beep sound and display

Believe it or not it is probably your Power Supply. Just because it lights makes the system lights up does not mean it is working properly. Sometimes it has enough power to make the light glow, but not enough power to make the fan in the power supply start or any other functions.

You can also try the things below to see if they work, if not replace the power supply.

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the computer?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the computer is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous. Most times the problem is with the Memory or Video Card when you hear beep tones or blinking lights. Notice the pattern of the lights and blinks. Do you get 1 Long Blink or Beep? Maybe you get 1 Long followed by 2 Short Blinks or Beeps.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.Memory Chip might be bad.
Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If itboots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and putit into the open memory chip slot and try booting.

If still on warranty, use your warranty :)

If not try to do what i did.

I had exactly the same problem. I managed to fix it by executing so called Rebuild Database operation.

I followed these instructions;

The PS3 has a special Recovery Menu, which you can access in the following way;:

1. Turn off Playstation 3.
2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

The current Recovery Menu supports:
• Restart System: Restarts the PLAYSTATION 3 System.
• Restore Default Settings: Reset all system settings back to default.
• Restore File System: Checks for corrupt/missing system files.
• Rebuild Database: Rebuilds the OS for the PLAYSTATION 3.
• Restore PS3 System: Fresh restore; Deletes everything and starts from Scratch.
• System Update: Update the PLAYSTATION 3 System

Select option "Rebuild Database".

After PS3 has executed this DB rebuilding operation, the disc games will be visible again in the menu
