Question about Canon PIXMA iP2000 InkJet Printer
My reinstalled printer now only prints every other line of Word/Open Office document. What can I do? This never happened before, does it have something to do with the fact I have recently installed Open Office on my computer and all downloaded attachments are opened and saved in Open Office (but as Word docs)? Or is there something I have to change with the printer?
I think you have nailed it.
Strangely enough, that is not an uncommon issue.
One word processor format may be changed when you transfer the documents to another.
I have even witnessed that very thing totally crash printers.
Very large printers. I would say what you surmise is exactly correct.
May want to see if there are some print driver options to try, AKA switch from PS to PCL . They may help.
