Question about Polaroid I533P Digital Camera

Polaroid i533 won't power on

Dead. Completely and totally dead- EVEN with NEW batteries. Won't light up, beep or anything. Nothing has happened to it- I used it to Ebay with a few nights ago, picked it up to use it today and totally DEAD. Nothing. I thought this cute inexpensive camera would do- but it's been a nightmare from day one. It eats batteries like I can't believe, and now it's trash ;- ( If anyone knows any fixes to this please email me! Many thanks!

I also purchased a Polaroid i533 5.0 mp. Worked just fine for 1 1/2 years and used it 2 days earlier and now tried to take a picture and it flashed and now it doesn't work at all. I have tried 3 sets of brand new digital camera batteries and it turns on for a second the start up screen flashes a second, green light comes on then it all shuts off automatically. What the heck??? help and of course the "1 year" warranty is up how special is that. There goes that $130 bucks. help what to do???Know any better inexpensive cameras?

Guest answered it for me...Push the shutter in all the way and make sure it shuts. It will reset and power up afterwards.

Polaroid A500 digital camera pressed ON button, nothing happened with new AA batteries and SD card

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

My polaroid A800 will not hold a charge. After taking a few pictures the batteries go dead. I use Polaroid batteries.

The Polaroid are good batteries, but! by your description they need to be replaced because it won't hold a full charge.

EOS 30D - blue print light then dead

When you disconnected the camera, did you use the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right of your computer screen or did you just yank out the cord?

Camera will not power up, no lights no beeps nothing, the battery is fully charged and I have replaced the CMAOS battery

Is this an older camera? Is the battery the original? Has it been unused for a lengthy period of time and allowed to completely discharge? It may be dead even though it registers charged in the charger. Clean the battery contacts in the camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Unfortunately your camera needs to be sent in for service. I have had to send in a camera for service to kodak make sure you stay on their tale and don't take any guff from them. Make sure they have all the information right. If this is not the answer you are looking for please disregard but this is most surely the only solution.
Good luck,
