    Hit Setup On Remote.
    Select Language.
    Get Remote And Hit 5,4,3,2,1,0.
Listen For Beeps. Touch “Hammer/Screwdriver” Logo.
    Select Brake Override
    Switch To Brake Override “ON”
    Now Hit Setup On Remote.

try this it worked for me on my jenson vm9412 system

There is a wire going to the parking brake from the radio that is grounded when the parking brake is applied. take THAT wire to ground and you will bypass the issue. But i didn't tell ya cause it is unlawful to drive and watch TV....while talking on the cellphone.. while eating a bowl of cereal...

In case you haven't figured it out yet, just wire in a 2-position grounded switch to your stereo. One to the pink wire and one to the black ground (same black ground the stereo uses)

however, somebody told me that there are codes for the jensen vm series that you enter in via the remote, could probably google it.

You just need to ground it and it should work fine

When I try to play a movie, I only see the warning sign on the screen. I can hear the movie playing, but the warning will not go away. This is even when the vehicle is in park. Any ideas what may be wrong?

Bypass Code
1. Go into Am/Fm mode
2. Hit "setup" on the remote control
3. Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4. A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen
5. Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen

I think the wire that should go to your hand brake is green, all you need to do to bypass this is hook it to an earth.

To bypass the parking brake you should connect the parking brake wire from the unit to ground. It is better to do it via a switch because is illegal to watch video while you're driving. :)

Ground the handbrake wire to the outerpart of the "line out" connector if it's not in use, works a treat
