REPAIR PHONE Hi I bought a cellphone on an auction called ebay the phone is samsung sghx830 and it works when it comes to people calling me but when i turn on the phone the screen turns white and it doesnot show the menu does the phone work.Or do I have to replace the phone with another one.

Go to reset phone under the settings. ( I think) You can reset the phone that way. But if its locked take apart remove SIM card and leave out. Try putting back in now...if that doesn't work then you have to call your phone carrier and explain you bought it from (?) and they will definitely walk u through how to reset it. But not saying it is...but if the phone wasn't bought and is hot ( stolen) then that might throw a red flag. But good luck!! I've been there also. I got help with my computer which was locked and come to find out was stolen!! But call the maker of your computer there's a # on it just call them. I promise it works!

file a complaint through Ebay within 45 days to get your money back if Pay Pal was used

hi, :) about yr pro,the phone was USA version software,so u sure cant use in Phillippines.we call that is Sim lock. so,wt u can do ? if u don have computer online,just send it to yr nearby mobile shop to reload another version software.

Try 1111 or 2222. If nothing, call your carrier.

I think that is because of your service provider. Try with a different valid SIM card.

it would not cost much like about $40.00usd to replaced....so start calling around to mobile service centers close to you for a cost.

www.samsung.com/uk/support/download has software for this phone. Just follow the links for the SGH-X830. I did and it was okay. I downloaded the manual, not the software.

try taking out the battery, then put it back in and turn it on...if that doesnt work just call verizon.
