There was a hardware failure / problem on your laptop. If I'm not mistaken it's probably on the Memory Module.

Thanks,

Everytime I boot up my laptop it goes to the blue screen then cuts off then boots right back up it does it over and over again

Your hard drive is corrupted - reinstall the operating system after you install the hard drive on another computer as a slave drive to save your important data.

Toshiba A105-S4074 laptop's monitor has no backlight

Use the VGA port to connect an external monitor, this will get you up and running temporarily until you can fix the screen, it sounds like you have a faulty inverter.

Computer cycles On/Off when trying to boot from hard drive. Hard drive checks out to be fully functional. New Battery and good external power supply.

Here's what I would do first:
Boot from a Windows system CD (probably the one that came with your computer). At the first screen that asks if you want to repair or continue, choose R for repair.
When you get to the screen asking for the Windows installation, choose #1 (probably) and then hit enter when asked for the password.
at the C: prompt, enter chkdsk /p to scan the disk for errors in the file system. Then try to boot it.

Hi, I own a TOSHIBA Satellite A105-S4004 Model (Notebook) and my laptop doesn't boot. Earlier, I was not able to execute any of the windows application programs like Notepad, Wordpad and even third party...

Hi,
Try these steps
1.Turn the PC back on and hit the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Option Screen appears.
2. Click "Repair Your Computer" if you are not already on it and then press ENTER
3. choose your country and click OK
4. On the "System Recovery Options Screen" click "Restore Application" which is the last option.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions
6. When prompted, click on "Full Factory Recovery"
7. "Next"

After some minutes, recovery will complete and you click "Finish"

let me know if it helps you.
Thanks

0251: System CMOS checksum bad-Whats this? ToshibaA105-S4254

You can go ahead and press F1. If it happens again the next time you boot up or it just goes back to that screen try pressing F2 and then exit with saving.

This should solve your problems, If it doesnt you have something configured incorrectly in the CMOS.

If this is the case there should be somewhere that you can restore the defaults of the CMOS (as every computer is different I can't guide you through this process)

Have a great day.

I have a Toshiba A105 Laptop, Screen goes blank after windows....

Here are some easy things that can sometimes resolve this problem:
1) Sometimes there can be a static buildup on the mother board. Power off, remove the battery, remove the power cord and hold the power button in the on position for at least 30 seconds.
2) If that didn't work- Power down, remove the battery, remove the Hard Drive and memory modules and reinsert them. Try to power back up
If these things don't work, get back to me for some more ideas.

If I open my Satellite A105 display too far, it goes black.

Hi, This is definitely a loose connection problem.
Does the screen go completely black or just a part ?
If its just a part, LCD is defective. You may have to change the whole LCD screen. You can get one for ~180$ from ebay
If the whole is turning off, I guess the power cable might be little loose.
You can open the LCD panel and check if you know what you are doing.
Else take it to a normal technician and ask him to open the LCD panel and see it.

Toshiba a105-s4054

Try pressing the following 2 keys simultaneously- Fn & F5. Do this only once. If this doesn't fix the problem, be sure to hit both of them simultaneously 1 more time to set the machine back in it's original state. What you are doing is switching between the internal monitor and an external monitor, should you ever have a reason to attach one.
