Motorola A780 in phone lock

I have a cell phone bought again from China without English user manual. It won't let me in. It is asking for unlock code. I bought it as an unlock GSM phone and it is so hard to contact and ask them in China when you have a problem. It seem that the phone is on phone lock. Is there a way to take out that phone lock?
