Problem for Siemens Gigaset 8825 Cordless Phone

Siemens Gigaset 8825 Dropped Calls

When I'm on a call and another in coming call (call waiting) comes in that I do not answer, when the new incoming caller hangs up the call I was on drops. This seems to have started, or at least I started it started afte I switched phone service from my Local Bell provider to my cable providers IP service. Any ideas on what the cause is?

- I have the same problem...with call waiting. While on a call, when a second call comes in regardless of whether I answer the second call or not, the intial call is dropped.

Does anyone have any suggestions?- TBSDublin

We use the same system for our home office and when ours went bad we sent it (and a bad handset we had) to www.cordlessrepair.com We got the rush repair service and got them back in a couple days. It was cheaper than buying a used one, my display was going bad too which they took care of at the same time and put in a new display, but it did cost me a little more. We love the phone so its worth it, and we looked for something similar but they all seem so cheaply made nowadays and we need alot of handsets. Hope this helps someone.
