Question about Delta Luv Delta - Baby Products 5-in-1 Crib

Model 4624-1 Delta Luv Crib

I can't find the book that came with the bed, naturally, and I want to convert this bed to a toddler bed at this time, which I thought was an option with this bed. I bought it at Walmart. It is wood and white construction. Thanks. Tammy Mitchell

Did you get the info you needed? I have the same model number from 2007 but I need replacement parts.

What year was the crib released? it might say on the bottom of the bed board. If you call their service line, 800-377-3777, I bet they could send you the book or tell you what it needs. I can't find that manual online right now.

If its like mine, you just remove the front panel that went up and down. Then lower the wood mattress support to the lowest level. You are now ready for the toddler bed. Once you want to convert to a double bed frame. You have to purchase a metal frame that holds the bed. Then attach the back and the front to the metal frame. This should like a sleigh bed. Good Luck, Nicol

Are there different types of toddler beds or a standard type in different styles?

There are quite a few varying types of toddler beds in the market. The first kind I will mention is a convertible crib. The great thing about a convertible crib is that it will last much longer. Some parents also find that a convertible crib eases the transition phase. Next there is the "captain bed" also known as a storage bed. This bed has built-in compartments everywhere - under the bed frame, in the footboards, even in the headboards. There are other types of toddler beds such as loft toddler beds, futon toddler beds, and platform toddler beds; however I think they are less popular and ultimately less safe for your toddler.

I have a vickie crib .I want to convert to toddler bed. If I take the front rail off there is'nt anything to hold the bed up in the front. It unscewss from the side. Help! Bed was purchaced 9/2008 ...

Is this a 4-in1 convertible crib? The Toddler bed will need the bottom railing and a half rail to convert from a crib to a toddler bed. The half rail can also be removed to make the 4th conversion to a toddler bed with out railing. But to convert this specific bed you DO have to add the bottom rail that came with the bed at purchase.

Converting from crib to toddler bed

It is very simple to convert a crib to a toddlers bed. You just need to remove the side railings by folding them under the bed. It would be automatically converted to a bed that a toddler can use please might you rate me or vote for me
