How do you lower the height on a LG washer and pedestal? It's too high by 1" to fit under my wall cabinets.

The pedistal has 4 leveling legs on the bottom of it you can adjust to a certain point. You may have to take the lefts off completely and if it still doesn't fit, you unfortunately didn't measure properly.

Height adjust

The rollers are fixed. The feet are threaded to adjust for level. If you need extra height, cut some board the right length to fit from the front roller to the wall behind and run the fridge on to it.

My ge profile dryer sarted squeaking whats the possible cause

The drum rides on two rubber rollers with nylon or plastic centers which become worn over time. You can access the rollers by removing the front lower cabinet under the door. Other points to check are the tension pulley which provides tension on the belt which you can access from the removed lower panel. The cabinet has a felt ring as a spacer preventing the drum from rubbing against the cabinet which may have fallen or become worn, which is rare. If you still have not found the cause you can attempt to run the motor without the belt to eliminate squeaking from the motor.

Crescent-shaped burns on clothes from dryer

Hello Friend, Your problem is very simple to fix. You need to replace the Rear drum support rollers. To replace the Rear drum support rollers just remove front of dryer body exposing the drum, look under the drum and you will see the belt and tention wheel in front of the motor. Now, release the tention on the belt and remove belt from motor shaft. At this point you can remove the drum up and out of the dryer cabinet. Look towards the rear of the dryer cabinet and you will see the rear drum rollers. The roller on the left has a support strap held on by a press on clip. just pry this clip off and remove support bar. Now there will be a plactic triangular clip holding the roller in place. Just remove the plastic clip and replace roller. The roller on the right just has the triangle plastic clip just remove and replace that roller as well. Be sure to lubricate the roller shafts with some 3 in one oil prior to re-installing the new rollers. Make sure you re-install all of the retaining clips. After re-assymbly of your dryer if should run like new. Happy to help, Tim. And please don't forget to give me your rating for my help. Thanks.

Find common dimensions of refrigerators, height, width, depth

There's a zillion makes and models of refrigerators with new one's coming on the maket all the time.
There is no standard fridge manufacturers must follow.
When I find a bad machine, and the customer want's to replace with new, I advise them to take the width and height of their opening before shopping, or be willing to remodel.
Best advice I can give you is plan the refrigerator opening for the worse case scenario on all your rentals.
As a general rule, refrigerators are becoming larger, and probably will continue that trend.

The fridge is unlevel front to back. The front is relatively too high. How do I level the beast?

The front should be a "little" higher than the back, in order that the doors will close softly when pushed past a certain point, and to assist in sealing the door to the cabinet. There is a levelling mechanism on the front rollers, turning a screw or bolt head clockwise will raise the rollers and counterclockwise will lower the rollers. If no rollers, then post type feet that screw in and out for height. Most have rollers in front and these can be adjusted with the screw or bolt that you can see in the front behind the lower cabinet cover. It should lift and pull straight out to remove, and you will then see the adjustment bolts or screws. You should be about half a bubble out of true level for the doors to seal well and close softly.

Push to start switch for whirlpool dryer i need diagram i have four terminals on switch two blk. wires, one tan, and one white withred stripe whirlpool model #11062822101

hi how-to-repair-a-dryer-1.jpg Except for the power cord and the exhaust vent, the components that make up the dryer are contained in a sheet metal box. Each component acts independently of the others, but all are interrelated in some way. There are several different ways to disassemble the cabinet for tests and repairs, depending on the manufacturer and model of the machine. Basic disassembly procedures are simple.

Some knobs may be held to their shafts with setscrews. Unscrew the fasteners and pull the knobs straight out. To get at most parts, however, only remove the back panel. Don't disassemble the rest of the cabinet until you're sure you can't make the tests, replacements, or repairs from the back. If the light in the dryer burns out, remove it from the dryer. You may need to remove retaining screws and panels to access it. Replace the burned-out bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage; check the ends of the

Step 2: To remove the lower front panel, pull it away from the bottom of the cabinet. Lift the lower panel up and away. Remove the springs under each side of the lower panel.

Step 3: To remove the top panel, wedge a stiff-bladed putty knife under the rim of the top and pry the top off. The putty knife helps release several spring fasteners at the top of the cabinet sides and front.

Step 4: To remove the dryer's control panel, remove the screws that hold it to the cabinet top or front. These screws may be under a piece of metal or plastic trim; pry off or unscrew the trim. Most knobs are friction-fit; pull them straight out.

Caution: When testing or repairing the electrical parts of a gas dryer, remember that the dryer is hooked to a gas pipe. Turn off the shutoff valve on the supply pipe before disconnecting the gas supply line or moving the dryer and before doing any electrical work.
