You may link using tiny wire solder it as bridge. It will work if you solder accordingly. If you need further assistance please post the close shot picture of the broken area. Good Luck

Delete autorun inf virus 4gb

If you have a autorun.inf virus on your memory card/USB stick the anti virus software on your PC may not allow access in order to stop it from spreading.

First you need to disable autorun feature on Windows operating system :

Follow steps in link :

http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-disable-autorun-autoplay-in-windows-7-and-windows-8/

After disabling the feature you will have access to your memory card/USB stick. The next step is to delete autorun.inf virus file hidden on your memory card/USB stick. But first you need to make the hidden virus file visible.

Follow steps in link to show hidden system files :

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/show-hidden-files-in-windows-7/

Now navigate to your memory card/USB stick you should see the autorun.inf file - DELETE IT.

(If it doesnt allow you to delete it - restart the PC in safe mode by pressing F8 on start up and choosing safe mode and try again)

Back up your files on the memory stick/USB stick to your PC and to make sure the virus is gone from the memory stick/USB format it using your PC.

Dont to forget re-hide your system files to prevent accidental deletion.

Good luck!

How to recover data of Memory stick without formatting?

As your description, I think your memory stick is error which may cause by virus attack or partition corrupted. It won't hurt to try to plug the stick to another computer and see whether this case happan again,if it does, besides you can use the chdsk tool in windows to fix the error, However if you can not fix it ,you should recover the data from memory stick firstly, know more here: Memory Stick Recovery

How do I download my pictures from my Sony camera to the computer?

Here is one instructional video tutorial from Sony Support; also could try this procedure:
- Take off your memory stick from your camera and insert it into your memory stick adapter. Open your camera's battery case and gently push the memory stick until you hear a faint "click," then remove it from the camera. Place the memory stick inside the adapter that comes with your camera.
- Insert the adapter into your computer's memory card reader, if you have one. The adapter, which is larger than the memory stick itself, is approximately the same size as an ordinary SD memory card.
- Connect your Sony digital camera to your computer using its USB cable if you can't find or don't have a memory stick adapter. Insert the small end of the USB cable into the camera. Insert the wider, flatter end into one of your computer's USB ports.
- Click "Open Device to View Files" to open your memory stick or camera. Search for the DCIM folder and click on it. Navigate through any photo subdirectories you've created and highlight photos you want to transfer to your computer. Right-click anywhere in a given folder, then click "Copy." Go to the location where you want to store your images, then right-click within that folder. Click "Paste" to transfer your images.

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).

How do I put photos from my comuter onto a 2gb sony memory stick

  1. Insert a Memory Stick into the Memory Stick slot in the left side of the PSP. Depending on how many photos you want it to hold, you may need to get a larger one than the stick that came with your system.
  2. Turn on the PSP.
  3. Plug a USB cable into the back of the PSP and into your PC or Mac. The USB cable needs to have a Mini-B connector on one end (this plugs into the PSP), and a standard USB connector on the other (this plugs into the computer).
  4. Scroll to the "Settings" icon on the home menu of your PSP.
  5. Find the "USB Connection" icon in the "Settings" menu. Press the X button. Your PSP will display the words "USB Mode" and your PC or Mac will recognize it as a USB storage device.
  6. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PSP" on the PSP Memory Stick -- it shows up as "Portable Storage Device" or something similar -- (you can use Windows Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac).
  7. If there isn't one already, create a folder called "PHOTO" inside the "PSP" folder (on newer firmware versions, this folder may also be called "PICTURE").
  8. Drag and drop image files into the "PHOTO" or "PICTURE" folder just as you would save files in another folder on your computer.
  9. Disconnect your PSP by first clicking on "Safely Remove Hardware" on the bottom menu bar of a PC, or by "ejecting" the drive on the Mac (drag the icon into the trash). Then unplug the USB cable and press the circle button to return to the home menu.....
hope this helped..good day..please vote...

How can i retrieve my files from a broken memory stick pro duo

It depends how it is broken, if there is a physical reason, broken connection inside, then it will be possible but if the ram chip inside has died then sorry you've lost it all.
If the chip itself is not damaged, then the data can be recovered.

It will probably cost you money, so it all depends on how important the data is.

It is unlikely that you will be able to do this yourself, but there are companies out there that specialize in recovering data from damaged drives.

I have a memory stick with files on and for some reason its asking me to re format it, but i dont want to lose the files.

If you reformat you will definitely lose the files. Here is a protocol that may get you up and running again. If it does not, check at a local staples or other computer dealer and see if they can retreve your data as you memory stick may be a goner.

Remove the memory stick from the USB port on your computer and then reconnect it to make sure it was installed properly.
  • Step 2 Check the sides of the memory stick and see if it has a "Write Protection" tab. Slide the tab over to the "Unlocked" position if it was set to "Locked" and attempt to use the memory stick again.
  • Step 3 Remove any USB hubs or extra USB devices that are connected to the other ports on the computer in case you have accidentally gone over the maximum number of devices that the motherboard can handle.
  • Step 4 Click on the Windows "Start" icon located at the bottom-left side of the main desktop toolbar. Click on "My Computer" and wait for a new window to pop up. Check to see if there is a new drive in the list of options that corresponds to the USB memory stick.
  • Step 5 Click on the "Map a Network Drive" button located at the top of the window if the USB memory stick is not appearing in the list of options. Choose an available drive letter from the drop-down box and then click on "Browse." Find the location of the memory stick and then click on "OK." Close the "My Computer" window and re-open it to access the memory stick.
