I'm trying to move files from old computer to new computer.

The easiest way is to use an USB memory stick, plug this USB memory stick into the XP computer and copy the files from the XP computer to the USB memory stick, then remove the USB memory stick and plug it into the Windows 7 computer and copy the files from the USB memory stick to the Windows 7 computer.

EMachines T3304 won't work with 2GB memory

might not be a working pair

are the memory modules of the same brand and type
IE: hynex ddr3 low density

if you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. first you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system

hope it helps

Computer does not reconize mermory stick

Either the port on the computer is bad or the memory stick is bad.

If you are using a usb port to plug in the memory stick, try another usb port.

Try plugging the memory stick into another computer to see if it works or if it is bad.

I need to put my photo,s onto a memory stick, dont know how to,i have a cruzer slice 2gb,thank you

I assume that you want to save photos to your memory stick from your computer. Follow this simple steps;
1. Connect the memory stick to one of the usb ports on your computer. (wait for few seconds)
2. Open the "My Computer" and check for a new drive detected. If you had assigned a name to your memory stick, you'll see it with the name or just check out the new drives detected (cruzer has a built-in application which you'll see it as another drive on your computer, you'll not be able to open it, it's only an image/read-only).
3. You can save the images/photos in two simple ways, (a). Open the folder where you saved your photos, right-click on the photo "send to" and then move your mouse towards the memory stick name and select it, refer to the picture below; d26b7ec.jpg

You can do the same with a folders or another files. Or you can select the photos you would like to copy to your memory stick which are saved in a folder on your computer, copy them and open the pendrive/memory stick directory, paste them into it.
4. After you are done, click on the usb icon on the taskbar and again click "safely remove usb mass storage" or similar messages. You'll be presented with another message that you could be able to remove the usb device.
I hope you can follow this instructions, i've tried to simplify, so that you can understand. Well, if you have problem following these, please let me know.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

I have purchased a memory stick[8GB] and I need to know how to use it

Hello !

If you are familiar with floppy disks (were placed in the "A" drive) from years ago, the memory stick works in the same way. Instead of saving to the "A" drive, you would save to a drive letter.

If you have a computer that is less than 8 years old, you probably have a USB port. The USB port is rectangular in shape.

Place the memory stick in your USB port (any USB port). The stick only goes one way. So if it does not fit, flip it over and try again. Do not force it.

You should see a message displaying a drive letter (probably "E", "F" or "G") that has been created. Note that drive letter.

Now, the memory stick will allow you to save your files to the "E", "F" or "G" drive. Your computer's hard drive is "C". When you save files (in a document, for example), you are saving to your "C" drive. To save to the memory stick, select "Save As" with in your software program, such as Word, and select the memory stick's drive letter. Your document will be saved to your memory stick. Note that the light will go on the memory stick as it saves your document.

When you are finished with the memory stick, look for a symbol on your Toolbar (near the date/time). Right-click the item and select "Eject" and you'll get a message that it is safe to remove your hardware.

Please note to never remove your memory stick when your are saving a document or other file.

That's it !!

Hope this helps.
