Question about Canon PIXMA MP760 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Pixma MP780 Series All-in-0ne Printer

Hello. Found your site while looking for solution for my printer problem. The display is stuck on "Please Wait", has been all day.

I've unplugged waited replugged; uninstalled reinstalled , checked computer configurationconfigurations. I thought that maybe it makes you wait if it needs new ink cartridges, which I have, but the ink arm won't slide to the middle so you can't put the cartridges in. Pressing the power on and off doesn't clear the Please Wait message, nor does anything else I've tried.

I have used the printer in the past without any problems. But then a few months ago it started to print a pale green color, no black print at all. I put in generic matched ink cartridges with no change. I ran the diagnostics, cleaning, maintenance, and still green. I then bought Canon's brand of ink, and was prepared to try these, but am stuck on Please Wait. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

    I have exactly the same problem nothing works ir order to reset it.
    The only to reset is to access to the screen menu which is a vicious circle

    Hi yes just the same on my pixma mp780 always just flashing please wait nothing I try to clear it works. It looks like a bin job!

Please try the below steps...
  1. While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the printer.
  2. Also disconnected any other cables from the printer.
  3. Wait for 30 seconds.
  4. Connect the power cord of the printer directly to a Wall outlet ( bypass surge / power strip )
  5. If printer does not power ON, then hit the ON button to do so.

Hi,
First off all connection unplug printer power and USB cable. Some time wait and replug power first then wait any error show or not, if ok then USB cable connect. If same error show then i suggest you printer driver uninstalled and restart printer and PC. Some time wait and start both device and check it virus and removed it then you new fresh printer driver installed it. If you problem solved then ok, otherwise same issue USB cable so change USB cable.

this is all i could find,if this does not work go to the link at the bottom.
Press "OK", "Yes" or "Close" to dismiss alert prompts, or press "OK" on the printer. Instead, press the "OK" or "Stop/Resume" button (down arrow/triangle-circle) on yourprinter, for 5-8 seconds, until the low ink indicator goes out, the power light stops blinking and/or the printer resumes printing.

Actually Error Code 5010 refers to the scanner issue of the printer. It is because of scanner malfunction. Mostly its because of some hardware issue but there are some solution which may solve this Error Code.

First of all turn off the printer and check the ribbon cables from the scanner, if they are a bit loose it can cause this error, These cable runs from scanner to logic board so they must be firmly seated and also check that scanner unit is must be unlocked, to check it Lift the document cover open and Slide the scanner lock switch to the release mark and Close the document cover.Turn On the printer now If problem is still there then go the other Solutions

First of all Re install the Driver of the Printer, Installing the latest driver may solve the problem. If problem not solved then try the givens solution:-
When there is problem of error then Resetting the device may solve the problem, it cleans the memory and there is a chance to solve the problem, To reset the printer

1. On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.

2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again.

3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

I hope it may solve the problem. But if the problem is still there then surely it may an hardware issue, Either the lamp is dead, or the scan assembly is stuck or its a problem is main logic board.

In this case i suggest that if your printer is in warranty then go to authorized Canon center for the warranty claim, They will surely solve your problem free but If it is out of warranty then Authorized Service Center of Canon fix this hardware issue.

Hi,
Go to START then RUN and type services.msc and click on OK. This should open services window. Scroll down to on the list and look for Print Spooler. Click on STOP on the left pane then restart the service. This should clear put the stuck document in your print spooler and you should be able to print again.

try to enter service mode by pressing 08+power on
enter code 1501 you will see 2 sighns "+" on display
by using plastic stick you can calibrate your display
just touch this "+" jently
then wait few seconds till calibrating process
...

My hp psc 1315v series isn't working


you need to install the printer driver from this site http://www.siliconguide.com/drivers/device/67/ just click on the site to download the file related to your operating system. and follow the instruction.
1 ) turn off or unplug the printer.
2 ) double the click the file that you saved.
3) plug back the printer and turn it on
)4 your system will display "New hardware found" icon

it will automatically install the necessary file etc. just wait ....

test your printer. it should work...

Printer error meaning


I found a couple of references to the error ?07,010.43?, it?s a generic message with lots of possible causes. Xerox?s official web site says to turn your printer off a contact their technical support. I did find one reference that said for them it turned out to be a wiper assembly stuck between the print head and the roller. I?ve never owned a Xerox printer (I?m an HP guy) so I can?t help you beyond that.
