Drivers side slider door wont unlock on 02 caravan. Dealer says its a wire harness $770.00 can this be right?

No not right you arebeing ripped off! Probably door actuater or first check the harness coming through the door (GLAND) most problems are due to snapped wires! Where things as doors, tail gates, boot lids E.T.C. open and close that is where the wires break! they will look ok at a glance but you need to get hold of them and guive then a good pull!!!
DON'T BE SHY!!! AS THE COPPER SNAPS INSIDE THE P.V.C. INSILATION AND BREAKS!!! BUT THE OUTER LOOKS O.K.

Question edited to add maker.
Question moved to model category.

The problem here is the wiring harness where it travels from the door into the door frame. Constant opening and closing of the driver's door bends the wires back and forth until they work harden and snap. This issue ONLY happens on the driver door.

Once you get inside there, you can check with a multimeter and replace that wire.

2006 Honda Odyssey slide door light on.
Here are the codes you posted along with the possible issues that may have caused each code to be triggered. It's possible the circuit these switches share has a problem that needs to be diagnosed.

It could well be a problem with the wiring or a problem with the connections between the switches and the Multiplex Control Unit, or possibly with the Multiplex Control Unit itself.

We have the same problem, just opposite doors - the passenger slider will close to 80%, but the driver still functions fine. There must be an easier solution than new wiring harness/motor??

I would check the obviouse first, That would be the battery in the remote. You can replace them from a radio shack store. Next find out the make of the keyless remote and email the manufacturer or call them. In fact thats how i solved my remote problem. There are also discount outfits on the net that will sell you another remote. You must give them the make and model and vin.

2000 chrysler concorde switch unlocks but wont lock doors.
sounds like the actuator. I had the same problem. Mine got to the point where it will now only work with the key. Had it looked at by dealer.. actuator is bad. Good luck.

Remote slide door will not close or open all the way.
there is a cable of wires that lay in the track under the slider they break from normal use.. the harness it fairly easy to change.. when you open the door lok in the opening you will see the harness there in black plastic

Sliding door lock
If you check the doorlock actuator it is more than likely bad. On my caravan I had to replace actuators on both sliders. Cannot get correct actuators at autoparts stores. Either go to a salvage yard or to the dealer to get them.
