Not showing on screen

If the screen doesn't display.Problem may comes from the damage of flex(Strip) or damage of LCD.So to fix this you can buy the spares from the Nokia Priority store or any Mobile Spares store.Or you can directly contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck

The light on the display only works intermittently

The most likely cause of this is damage to the flex cable assembly that connects the upper and lower parts of the phone - it's fairly easy to find (just google "6280 main flex cable"), but a little fiddly to install.

Soft/hard reset combination keys doesnt work for nokia 6280

try this for soft reset

12345 is a standard code and 00000, but if you change it and you have forgotten your unlock code, you'll just have to reformat it

key combination which is used to hard reset the phone (similar to #*7370). It is useful in some cases, for example when the phone cannot reboot.

The trick is
Switch off the phone.
Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, * button, and ‘3′ button
While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone
When the message ‘Formatting’ appears on the screen, release all of the buttons...

reformatting your phone will delete all your data and also will restore all the defaults of your phone, and any corrupted application will be reinstalled, but if the formating doesn't work, you'll just have to re flash it, the safe way is to go to a near repair shop of your phone and have then to re flash your phone,

It's hard to do anything if the menu button does not work. Reformatting seems to be the only solution.
