When i plug my monitor in, it just goes white screen

sounds like failing parts inside the monitor

if possible plug in to a external monitor if the display on the ext. monitor is white is likely video chip on motherboard. if its white the second you turn it on try the above. found here

sounds like a faulty monitor,time for a new one,is it under warantee???

Are You using a extention cord or a ups that is not funtioning properly....?? if yes try connecting the power for the monitor seperately or directly to a plug base...

It's a hardware defect. you can't repair that. if your monitor in under warranty you can go for repair.
or repair it through any good local vendor.

If you got a white screen, then you need to replaced a new AD board. AD board is a piece of component that you plugged your VGA or DVI cables to the monitor. Good lucks, Have a nice weekend!

you need to have some one open the flat panel up and check the capacitors on the vga/ inverter card and see if they are domed shaped if so then you have blown capacitors and they are not a difficult fix but pricey as the electronics guys don't come cheap

To me it sounds like the bulb is having a problem with powering up. It may be an issue with the power adaptor or the outlet it is plugged into. Have you tried to plug it in, in other outlets?
