You need to return to xbox. They extended the warranty for this problem. But do'nt settle for a refurbished unit.

My recommendation is to return the unit, but there is a popular way that does in fact work. I tried it and my xbox lasted 4 week longer. Basically, wrap it in 2 towels, turn it on and leave it for 30 mins, come back , unwrap and reboot xbox.

HOW TO PLAY THE WIRLES GITAR ON XBOX 360,,I TRYED TO FINDE A WEB SITE FOR A SOLUTION,BUT I COULDEN'T...

If it is a xbox 360 guitar, it should have a sync button. You would connect it the same as a wireless controller. Turn the xbox and guitar on. Press and hold the sync button on the guitar until the ring of light starts flashing green in a circle, then press and hold the sync button on the console (small white button next to memory card port), until it does the same thing. The two should both stop flashing within a few seconds, and the guitar will be connected.

Three red light`s on xbox 360 console how can i fix the problem

How to Fix Xbox 360 3 Red Lights
Appearance of the three blinking red lights on your Xbox 360 game console is a familiar problem and in this article I will try to offer some solutions to rectify this nagging problem.
The 3 blinking red lights point to an internal error and might be ascribed to common breakdown of hardware.
Try out this simple fix if you like:
Step one will involve removal of memory units and hard drive.
At step 2, under the system blade run the INITIAL SETUP.
At step three involves declining the insertion of memory unit or HDD prompt offer with a negative reply when the prompt creates the automatic offer.
Finally you need to sync the controller & pop in a game.
Due to the widespread occurrence of the three red light fault, Microsoft is offering a new 3 year free warranty.

Controller will not connect to game

To connect a controller to Xbox 360 console:
Wired Controller:
1) Simply plug in the controller into one of the three USB ports avaiable on the system. Two of which are on the front of the console( next to the power button, there is a small door, it is marked by two dots on top, open it and you will find the two USB ports, the third USB port is on the back of the system)
Wireless Controller:
1)Press and hold the Xbox guide button until the controller turns on.
2) Make sure that the console is on, then press and release the connect button on the console( the button next to the memory card slots)
3) Press and release the connect button on the Xbox wireless controller, if connected the ring of lights on the controller will stop blinking, one of which will now be constantly lit, The same will occur on the ring of lights on the console itself

Wireless controller flashing green light but wont detect xbox360?

Have you tried resyncing your xbox and controllers? On the controller, press the little circle button on the top of the controller, between the bumpers. On the 360, there's a small circle button, about half inch wide, next to the memory card ports. Press that as well.

Setting up a 360 wireless controller

Turn Your Console and Controller On The Xbox® Guide button in the center of your controller puts the Xbox 360® experience at your fingertips. Press and hold the Xbox Guide button to turn your console on.
To turn on your console only, press the power button on your console. To turn on your controller only, press the Start button on your controller.
Once on, pressing the Xbox Guide button gives you immediate access to the Xbox Guide. To turn off your console, press and hold the Xbox Guide button for three seconds and then confirm your selection.
Turn Your Console and Controller Off To turn your console and controller off, press and hold the Xbox Guide button on your controller for three seconds. Then select whether you want to turn off just your controller or both your controller and your console. (Selecting the console will turn off both the console and all connected controllers.)
To turn off one controller when multiple wireless controllers are connected, press and hold for three seconds the Xbox Guide button of the controller you want to turn off, then select Turn Off Controller.
To turn off your console only, press the power button on your console
When you connect a controller to your console, it is assigned a specific quadrant, which glows green to indicate the controller's number and position. Each subsequent controller connected to the console (up to four) is assigned an additional quadrant.
If system problems should arise, the Ring of Light on the console will flash combinations of red.

I hope this solved your problem.
Happy Gaming!

Wireless controller

I dont know if you have been able to figure out what the proble was with your 360, but the exact SAME thing happened to me. The 360 seems to be working fine, game loads, and both the consoles and the controllers rings lit up green, but then the controllers ring just keeps flashing and the console won't recognize it. I 've tried other controllers and nothing worked and obviously I tried to synch it with the console time and time again. PLEASE HELP!!!
