Usually only the radio needs to be powered up...NOT the engine running . Be sure all accessories are off so as to not run battery down. You might try disconnecting battery again & hold positive connection to ground for 30 seconds .

Need the radio code to reset after battery was disconnected.

Afraid there is no radio code as such....the Saab headunit is paired to the car with Saab Tech 2 software.
A dead battery swap shouldnt lose the radio if it was working before you changed the battery.
Have you checked the fuse for the radio?

You should also post on Saabcentral

The radio won't work. It is currently on cd mode. When I put the radio on it starts playing the same cd that has been in for a week now. All the buttons dont work. I can't change the mode.

Sound as if there is an internal problem with the system. Will the CD eject when commanded? If not, try to remove it manually with a pair of tweezers or something of the sort to see if it will come back on line. You can also disconnect the battery for a few minutes to erase the units memory ( you may require a code if it has a theft feature ) to see if it will start working again. If nothing gets better, suspect an internal unit issue

Radio will not power up.

there is it should be located on the back of radio itself. if that doesn't work you may need to check your fuses

Changed battery need codeto reset radio?

You need to get your radio security code from your Honda dealership service department. this is an antitheft code, to keep crooks from reselling stolen radios, so if you go to the dealer, and provide the VIN number of your Honda, they should be able to help you out!

Look all i want is to get my radio going i had a compressor change battery was remove wat do i have to do to get this imfo.

Hi and thank you for using fixya:
I would like to address that removing your battery and connecting back on will not invalidate or make your radio go out of service. Removing your battery does resets your radio to factory settings but it should be working fine. Check for any cables or fuses that are gone.
Good luck

Saturn vue 2004 repalced battery

If it is like most Saturns if you had the radio or any eletrical equipment on when you changed the battery it blows the fuse. It will also blow the fuse to your turn signals or wipers if they are on.
