Question about Lite On LH-20A1H DVD RW Dual Layer Burner
I have installed a new lite-on dvdrw LH-20A1H drive which is having issues.
If I have been using either a CD or DVD and I eject the disc and insert a different disc it still shows the properties of the previous disc and will not display the contents of the new disc.
I would greatly appreciate any advice that I can get to resolve this problem.
Dont eject the cd when windows is still using the cd anyway ,like copying ,songs playing ,
easiest solution -restart the pc
i face the problem but it is once a time not repeated so ,restarting the pc.no more ideas

Tips for a great answer:
First, open the Device Manager and
uninstall the drive,. If you need instructions on how to open the
Manager, here is the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283658
Download and install CCleaner
(free) from Piriform
Run the cleaner to remove old
un-needed temp files
Select the StartUp tab and look
for any programs that you know you installed but no longer use or
need, and disable them. Caution, do
not disable any system files unless you absolutely know what they
do and that you do not need them.
Run the Registry cleaner, when
asked if you want to backup the registry, select YES,
and save to a file you will remember just in case. I have used this
program hundreds of time on many different system and it has never
caused a problem, but you want to be safe, backup the Registry.
If asked about a particular file
that it wants to clean, select "yes to all"
CCleaner link -
Windows should reinstall the drive when
the computer boots back up.
If this does not resolve your problem,
try the following.
the Open Source CD/DVD player VLC, a great player
you take all these step and you still can not play a DVD, chances
are your CD/DVD player needs to be replaced. Good Luck,
this helps resolve your issue, would you please rate the solution.
