Question about D-Link DSL-G604T Wireless Router
I am able to connect to the internet if I use the ethernet connection but not when using the wireless. When I first set up the wireless it would not acquire an ip address so D-Link suggested to set up a static ip address; I've ran 'Connectivy Doctor' and it gives two possible reasons for the failure
1) 'there is no response from the DNS Server'
2) ' there is no response from the default gateway'
Contact ur service priovider they will provide u ur ip address and default gateway as well as dns server address
After getting ur ip
go to network connection > wireless network connection > properties > scroll down for internet protocol and double click on it > click on use the following ip and then enter the ip address and default gateway with dsn server provided by ur service provider > click ok
now u r done and u can connect 2 the wireless network
