Our TV tipped over and the plastic frame hit the ground. After that incident we get Vertical rainbows (blue, red, green and yellow). Objects on the screen have the vertical bands of colors. Befroe this incident the TV had been perfect. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Mitsubishi TV Model VS-35313
Probably having a convergence fail. if you are able check the solder connections on the convergence ICs on the large heatsink located on the middle PCB of the chassis. as long as the fail hasn't gone its coarse you may be able to correct the problem by a simple re-soldering of cracked(bad connection) pins.

This is likely a problem in a section called the vertical drive. A number of small parts need to be replaced. The green colour is due either to weak red an blue tubes or the green tube is over-driving. You might want to rethink spending any money fixing this...
You may be suggesting a convergence problem..when the blue and red boxes will not center. You have bad grounds on the convergence ICs. Resolder or replace theses ICs. Or you may be asking about a problem in the vertical section. Vertical problems will appear as horizontal lines on the TV. In this case you have bad capacitors near ithe vertical IC and must also resolder or replace the vertical IC.
i have a mitsubishi vs-60111 when i watch the tv as of last week the color is pale like green color or green, gray color the picture is sharp yet , i took front cover off the lights are still bright red , green and blue what can be the problem / joe
Sound like you lost Vertical Deflection.Youshould not have a line across the screen because this could destroy the threeCRT Red, Green, and Blue (Picture tubes) if left on to long. There is a protection circuit built in to protect your CRT’s.Check on the PCB-SIGNALboard (Tuner located on this board) transistors Q-206 Collector should be around 1 Volt Base and Emitter 0V. If the voltage atthis point is greater then 5 Volts the Vertical output IC-401 (Mounted on heat sink 7 pin inline IC) is bad, Part # LA7845. Pin Voltages should be PIN 1= 0V, 2= 34V, 3= 32V, 4= 3V, 5= 3V, 6= 33v, 7= -6V. Data sheet located at http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/40357/SANYO/LA7845.html
This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems, to activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source
