Question about Xerox DocuPrint N17 Laser Printer
I have a docuprint n17 which has been great so far. I ran out of toner and replaced the cartridge but every page since is very saturated with toner giving me a gray page. I thought it must have been a faulty toner cartridge so I replaced it but the result is the same. If you can help I will be greatfull as this printer has a lot of life left
Did you leave the printer door open for more than 5 minutes when changing the cartridge? The OPC drum may be damaged by light

First did you use a third party toner ?
If that isn't the case, try taking out the cartridges and looking for all the contacts. Clean them with a cloth dampened with a little alcohol. An improperly seated cartridge, with in particular a bad ground contact will cause that.
Less likely is the housing has gone bad. But still possible.
Either third party ink or a poor connection on one of the cartridges is the most likely issue.
