Not Connecting Hi, I have a NOKIA 6288, and when i plug the usb cable in, it comes up on the phone, I select default mode, but nothing comes up on my PC, it just wont register, and yes i have installed the software, and it worked when i first got the phone. Cheers!

Hello if the default code 12345 doesn't help,,,,you can generate the current by using some software by connecting your phone via USB.Or you can contact mobile repairing shop.If you wish to do follow this How to Generate Your Phone Security code..Only for Nokia bb5....all the procedure has been instruction completely.Good luck

Default security code of Nokia is 12345 and if they have any country wise changes in security code then please refer to your manual book which comes with the phone.
if nothing work then go and install new firmware and unlock them.

Try Changing default memory from phone memory to card memory

u have to istall the  the nokia  pc suite  to recognize the mobile

nokia 6288 ime is:355547/01/288609/0

take it to the nearest nokia service center to flash the phone software

im not a genius or anything but i have nokia pc suite and i cant drag files to my phone either. i usually just plug the memory card into the computer and it comes up as a memory card with the images and video clips folders etc. im pretty sure its faster than the usb cable. you could also buy a usb infrared thing but they are very slow to transfer files. so if you really want to use your usb cable then this question wouldnt've helpd. thanks. 1, clean the usb cable connections, both out and inside the phone
2. try to replace the usb cable to dku-2 or ca-53
3. make sure u have the latest firmware (6.43) by pressing *#0000# at the main screen.
if u don't i strongly advice to update it from nokia website.

but before u do make sure to clean the usb cable connector

restore handset and reinsert sim then try...else problem with usb slots to the display connector....get it repaired frm nokia care center.

U need to install motorola phone tool software(Comes along with mobile)  in ur computer after install that software u will get an  icon on desktop of motorola phone tool then when u will plug in data cable with mobile and computer u will get a picture  of ur mobile on ur computer after open Motorola phone tool icon from ur desktop
