Based on your keyboard layout, you don't need a key combination to capture your screen. Just press the "Print Scrn" button and your screen image will be copied to your clipboard. Now if you have pressed the "Print Scrn" key, go to MS Paint or any other image processing programs and "paste" it there.

Notice that your "Print Scrn" key is printed on top of the keyboard key and in white color. That means that it is the default key when pressed so there is no need to combine with Fn or shift. But if it is printed in blue or orange (your Fn key should be in blue or orange also) that is the time you need a key combination.

Screen print click

try just pressing print screen if that does not work it may just require holding the Fn key and then tapping the print screen key. if non of these options work there is always other programs that you can download a program like Fraps for example that you can bind a new print screen key like F8

How do i do a "print screen" with my samsung laptop, can't seem to find the key on the keypad

look toward top righthand side of keyboard for a key saying, (prnt scrn) or similar, if the writing on the key is coloured there may be a key labeled FN next to the control key bottom lefthand corner of keyboard which you have to press together with prnt scrn. hope this helps.

Windows xp dell latitude e6400 print screen command? tried fn+alt+ (f11) prt scrn and fn+(f11) prt scrn neither worked looking foreward to hear from you

What the Print Screen option does is copies the screen to the clipboard. You will need to use a program such as Word and past the content to the open page.
By hitting the Print Screen button by itself will show the image of the desktop.
The Alt + Print Screen combination will give you a pic of the active window

You can also try this...
If your Print Screen is labeled in blue & your Function key is also blue then you have to hold Fn key while using Print Scrn , "Fn"+"Print Scrn" or "Fn"+"Alt+Print Scrn"

let me know if you have any other questions..
Thanks!

My Dell D610 laptop monitor has went completely white.

I don't have a Dell D610 with me, there should be a VGA/SVGA port on the back. If not, there's a DVI port.

If the video has not gone bad, you should be able to. Connect the monitor to the back vga/svga port or DVI port.

The are several controls to activate the monitor for Dell computers.

CTRL ALT <
CTRL ALT F10
FN F8 (CRT/LCD)
FN D
FN F12

Good Luck.

Prt scrn button does not work on Gateway KB-0532 keyboard

It doesn't work on my laptop. It works if you hold down the FN key whilst pressing the prt scrn button, if you cannot find the FN key, on my laptop it is next to the CTRL button on the bottom left. Hope I've solved your problem!

Print Screen Function

On the top row, on the right hand side, second from the left, there should be a Print Screen key (Print Screen / SysRq). Just press that key once - it should give you a PrintScreen.
