My jensen vm9021ts is occasionally switching to tv tuner with any buttons being pressed on the unit or the remote.

It happens the same to my unit. Jensen service charges around 130 + shipping, which is a third of the price of a new unit. Anyone else that have fixed this issue...?

It should work if Jensen says so. Buy from BesBuy, CircuitCity or someone who will take it back in case it is not compatible. Remember to ask for one that would compatible with Jensen. Goodluck.

No sound with discs playing

There should be some sort of outboard amplifier. Mine had an amp at each speaker, and also a receiver mounted behind the passenger seat. Could it be that the power antenna lead from your headunit is connected to the amp turn-on lead? That way, when the radio is playing, the antenna lead is powered and thus the amps are too, whereas when the CD is playing, the antenna lead would not be powered and thus no sound. Try reversing these two wires (Power antenna and amplifier turn-on) and your CD should work.
